"I wanted to be a writer since I was a very small child. When I made it
to middle school my English teacher told me I wasn't cut out to write a
book, trying to encourage me to work harder, but I gave up. I didn't
even read any books I didn't have to read. Then at twenty-five, I fell in love
with reading again when I found a book by R.A. Salvatore. At the age of
thirty I had my first daughter. I realized one day I would tell her to
follow her dreams, yet I hadn't. I decided to lead by example and wrote
my first two books, back-to-back. I started in August and finished
October 1st. I love writing and now want nothing more than to make my
daughter proud."
